Classical figurative arts aim to articulate human emotion via the actions and gestures of the body, which I adopted as my own approach to drawing in an archetypical manner. However, the primary aesthetic value of any figurative work derives from the viewer's instinctual sense of beauty in human form, taking precedence over additional narratives or meanings assigned to the image.
